The Colonel has a pretty rough life before coming into Dawg Squad.   You can read all about it here https://dawgsquad.org/professor-plum-and-colonel-mustard/

But right now we want to tell you how great he is.

The Colonel is quiet, confident and a genuinely nice guy.    He catches on quickly and is completely housebroken and crate trained.    The Colonel wants nothing more than to be loved and pet and his biggest thing is to sit on your lap and cuddle.   When he is outside, and his Foster Mom goes out to call him in, he comes running with a goofy smile on his face and gives her a big hug.   He was starved for so long that he literally jumps up and down anticipating breakfast and dinner.   Mealtime is his happiest time of the day.

  • Colonel is trying to understand the concept of “fetch” but for now, he is just happy to be running after a ball and then chewing on it for a bit.    Not quite sure if he will ever want to bring a ball back, but he’s happy and that’s what counts.

  • Colonel thinks it is his job to escort The Professor to his crate when it’s time for bed.    We think he might have been protective over his smaller “brother” in his previous life.

This is a really cool dog.   He’s goofy and friendly and whoever adopts him is going to spend a lot of time laughing and cuddling.    The Colonel brings out the best in a person
